The vast majority of SPCS-based drawings we've seen have been plans for sites lying more than 300 miles from 0,0. How much more? That difference exceeds 2 feet for every 200 miles. If you need to deal with particularly large sites referencing the State Plane Coordinate System (SPCS), or even GPS coordinates, the US Survey Foot offers more accuracy than Decimal Feet.
